Terms and conditions FemmeGym.
Registration
Upon registration, start-up costs are paid with each type of membership.
Membership
-The Unlimited regular, student & off peak membership gives access to the fitness, eGym & cardio room and to the lessons at the Garage & location de Dryerij. The off peak membership has limited access times; Mon to Fri 07:00 to 16:00. weekend 12:00 to 16:00.
-The Essential membership only gives access to the fitness, eGym & cardio room at the Garage location.
-Each membership by direct debit starts on the 1st of the month. If you become a member during the current month, the monthly amount will be charged pro rata, after which the membership will start on the first of the following month. A membership has a minimum duration of 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months, depending on the type of membership chosen. After the minimum chosen duration, the membership will automatically continue per month.
-If the 24-month membership is terminated within the minimum term of 24 months, the monthly discount (compared to a 12-month membership) will expire with retroactive effect from the start of the membership until the end of the membership. This means that the discount must be repaid in the event of early termination. For this arrangement, one must have been a member for at least 12 months.
Cancellation of any membership that is paid by direct debit must be done in writing by completing the cancellation form (femmegym.nl/cancel).
If we have processed your cancellation, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. This email is binding.
-Cancellation must be made no later than 1 calendar month before the end of the minimum chosen term of membership. If not timely canceled in writing, the membership will be extended each time with a minimum of 1 month and can be canceled per month from then on.
If you have opted for a prepaid membership of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, the membership will automatically be terminated after the chosen duration. Membership cannot be canceled prematurely
The package deal of 3 sessions of classes is valid for a maximum of 6 weeks and expires automatically after 6 weeks.
The package deal of 10 sessions of classes is valid for a maximum of 6 months and expires automatically after 6 months.
All our memberships are personal. In consultation, a 12-month membership and a 24-month membership can be transferred to a new member once per contract period. The current member is responsible for introducing the new member. A new member is someone who is not yet a member of FemmeGym. The new member takes over the contract, provided there are still at least 6 contract months to go, and bears full financial responsibility for a smooth payment of the contribution from the takeover. The new member is not obliged to pay the start-up costs.
Reservations and credits
You receive 1 credit every 12 weeks for making an appointment for a functional fitness schedule with an Unlimited membership.
You get 1 credit for making an appointment for a functional fitness schedule with an Essential membership.
You receive 1 credit every 12 weeks for making an appointment for eGym guidance with an Unlimited membership.
You get 1 credit for making an appointment for eGym guidance with an Essential membership.
You receive 1 credit every 12 weeks for making an appointment for a health check with an Unlimited membership.
You get 1 credit for making an appointment for a health check with an Essential membership.
Reservations for health checks, functional fitness schedules and eGym guidance can be canceled up to 24 hours in advance. This can be done at the counter, by telephone or by e-mail. If you cancel a lesson reservation too late or not at all, the credit will expire and you will not be able to book a new appointment until you receive a new credit.
-You get 4 lesson credits per week with an Unlimited membership, with which you can reserve lessons. A lesson is 1 credit. Have you run out of credits? No problem, you can just call from an hour before the start. If there is room, we will reserve a spot for you.
- You may cancel lessons free of charge up to 2 hours before the start. If canceled less than 2 hours before the start, you will not receive the lesson credit back.
For cancellations made less than 1 hour before the start or in case of a no-show, you will not receive the lesson credit back, and we will charge a penalty of €4.50. The penalties will be donated to a charity
- You must be present at least 5 minutes before the start of the lesson. If you are not, there is a chance that we will give your ticket away to someone else.
If a reservation is not fulfilled for one of the services that we do not offer free of charge, the appointment will be canceled and cannot be made up.
Contribution
For direct debit, a problem-free payment of the contribution must be ensured. If it is not possible for us to collect the monthly contribution, we reserve the right to charge cancellation costs.
In addition, there is no access to our facilities until payment has been made. If payment is not made, we will hand over the process to a collection agency and it is possible that the contribution for the entire year will be claimed.
If a different amount than the agreed amount is debited, you can reclaim this within 30 days.
Suspend membership
A membership can only be suspended due to: illness, pregnancy or accident. Upon presentation of a medical certificate, you can request a suspension via the suspension form (femmegym.nl/suspension).
suspension is possible from a minimum of 2 weeks. With student membership, suspension is also possible in case of a long-term internship (2 months or longer) abroad. It is not possible to suspend membership with retroactive effect. When suspended, the membership is extended for the same period if the chosen minimum duration has not yet expired.
Mutations
Mutations (application for changes in membership) must be submitted in writing to the desk no later than the 15th of the month if the mutation is to take effect the following calendar month.
Personal member card
FemmeGym uses a digital member card through the FemmeGym app.Without a member card there is no access to the activities and facility.
Accountability
The management is not liable for theft, loss or accidents within FemmeGym.
The minimum age is 18 years.
Members are responsible for consulting a general practitioner.
New members without training experience are advised to make an appointment with the fitness instructor. It depends on the type of membership whether there are costs involved. This appointment must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise costs will be charged.
Code of conduct
FemmeGym has the right to refuse access to those who are guilty of misconduct, do not comply with the house rules or discredit the name of the gym. Misconduct includes, among other things; extreme or provocative clothing, indecent/aggressive language, discrimination, polluting the accommodation and/or environment.
Members must behave properly towards staff and other members within FemmeGym. Instructions from the staff must be followed immediately.
FemmeGym reserves the right, in case of violation of the above, to impose sanctions or unilaterally expel the member, without any right to a refund of membership fees already paid.
Hygiene
In connection with hygiene, everyone in the sports areas must wear clean sportswear and clean sports shoes and the use of a towel is mandatory. Changing clothes is only allowed in the changing rooms. Before using the sauna, you must first take a shower and the use of a towel in the sauna is also mandatory. Clothing and undergarments are not allowed in the sauna.
Consumptions
FemmeGym offers all kinds of tasty drinks. These can be obtained via bar balance. This is an amount from € 5, - which is deposited on the member card. The amount will not be refunded after termination of the membership and cannot be withdrawn in cash.
Amendments
FemmeGym reserves the right to limit the number of registered persons and to limit opening hours, class schedule, the number of credits, to limit the number of participants per class and to change rates.
FemmeGym reserves the right to change the regulations. With each change, the previous regulations will become null and void.
FemmeGym reserves the right to implement price changes in addition to reasons related to changed VAT rates and inflation correction. FemmeGym indicates at least one month before the start with which amount the monthly contribution will be increased and by when. If the change concerns reasons other than changed VAT rates and inflation correction, membership may be canceled at the start of the increase.
I (the client above) am becoming a member of FemmeGym. By signing this form, I hereby accept FemmeGyms fitness activities and the terms and conditions set by FemmeGym as mentioned in the terms and conditions form. By signing, I declare knowing and accepting these terms and conditions. Any offers do not affect the minimal contract period.
By signing this form, I authorize FemmeGym to continuously charge monthly membership fees to my bank account and other outstanding fees from my bank via automatic debit in accordance with the charging procedures carried out by FemmeGym. (FemmeGyms automatic debiting information is indicated below)
By signing this form, I waive my right to be notified in advance of every monthly fee charged to my bank account. FemmeGym will collect monthly membership fees around the 28th of each month. If this is during a weekend, it will be collected the next following business day. Any membership fees or other outstanding charges that do not go through will incur extra costs. We reserve the right to periodically change membership prices.
You can request that your membership be temporarily suspended for medical reasons in consultation with FemmeGym and in accordance with the terms and conditions. You will not be charged during the agreed period that your membership is suspended. After the agreed period expires, we will resume charging your bank account. Although your membership will be suspended and no fees will be charged during this period, your membership suspension does not revoke our authorization to charge your bank account.
If you dont agree to be charged via automatic debit from your bank account, you can arrange for a refund. After the charges are made, contact your own bank within 8 weeks to ask for a refund. Consult with your bank for their terms.
